What to Pay Attention to During Fertilizer Horizontal Mixing?
Precautions during organic fertilizer horizontal mixing (including the application of horizontal fertilizer mixers):
1. Proper Raw Material Pretreatment: Before mixing, organic fertilizer raw materials should be crushed and screened to a uniform particle size (avoiding large impurities), while controlling the moisture content to below 12%. This lays the foundation for efficient mixing in the horizontal fertilizer mixer.
2. Precise Control of Mixing Parameters: Adjust the speed (generally 20-40 r/min) and mixing time (10-20 minutes) of the horizontal fertilizer mixer to ensure uniform distribution of raw materials and additives (such as anti-caking agents and microbial agents), avoiding uneven mixing that affects fertilizer efficiency.
3. Reasonable Material Quantity: The amount of material added should not exceed 80% of the rated capacity of the horizontal fertilizer mixer, leaving sufficient mixing space to prevent material accumulation leading to insufficient mixing or equipment overload.
4. Add Additives in Stages: Anti-caking agents, nutrient adjuvants, etc., should be added in small, staged amounts. First, thoroughly mix the main ingredients before adding the additives. The additives should be fully dispersed by the spiral blades of the organic fertilizer mixer to prevent clumping or excessively high local concentrations.
5. Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Before mixing, check the blade wear and bearing lubrication of the horizontal fertilizer mixer. During operation, avoid opening the cover for feeding to prevent dust or material splashing. After operation, promptly clean the inside of the machine to prevent clumping and mold growth.
